Duties
As a Administrative Officer at the GS-0341-14 grade level, some of your typical work assignments may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Plans the work to be accomplished by subordinates, establishes priorities, assigns work, evaluates work performance, provides advice, counsel, and guidance to subordinates.Principal advisor to U.S. Marshal and Chief Deputy for all financial and administrative policies and procedures.Provides recommendations and oversight in the budget formulation, execution and deobligation of reimbursable
funds.Oversees and coordinates District Office Reimbursable Work Agreements with GSA for workspace management and renovation projects, Information Technology infrastructure upgrades, and execution of Special Projects assigned by the Chief Deputy or U.S. Marshal.Facilitates all district personnel related functions to include coordination for Human Resources activities within the district with the Human Resources Division (HRD) including, collateral duty records and time and attendance activities, and travel regulations.Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility in the Federal Workforce

Experience: Experience that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. You must have at least one year (12 months) of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service performing the following duties:
Managing financial and budgetary actions including budget formulation and execution, reimbursable agreements, and procurement of supplies and contracts;Facilitating personnel related functionswith a human resources office to include performance management, training, and hiring;Providing recommendations and guidance to leadership in areas such as financial management, asset forfeiture, and property management; andPerforming reviews and analysis of operations and administrative services to identify deficiencies and apply corrective actions. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
